DESCRIPTION:“O reino de Asturias nas orixes de Santiago de Compostela” \nConferencia que nos sitúa nas orixes das peregrinacións a Compostela tendo aos reis de Asturias como impulsores do mesmo dende a súa lexitimación tanto política como relixiosa. Neste contexto é importante coñecer as orixes das peregrinacións a Compostela e como os reis de Asturias foron os impulsores desde a lexitimación tanto política-relixiosa\, marcando profundamente a historia social cultural do medievo europeo. Asturias mantén con Compostela unha relación privilexiada desde o mesmo momento do descubrimento da tumba do Apóstolo Santiago. Esta conferencia aspira a mostrar como os Reis Asturianos consolidaron ese Camiño\, que continúa nos nosos días coa mesma forza.
