DESCRIPTION:O Concello de Pontedeume dende o Programa de Dinamización Social e Fomento da Participación Cidadá\, impulsa unha serie de accións dirixidas ao colectivo das persoas maiores que\, ten como máxima: desenvolver políticas sociais dirixidas a mellorar a súa calidade de vida para acadar un envellecemento activo real. \nDende os servizos sociais municipais tramítanse e xestiónanse moitas destas accións e\, vinculado a este departamento\, cabe destacar a acción preventiva e de promoción persoal e funcional que a través da realización de actividades socio-culturais e recreativas\, así como\, a prestación doutros servizos\, que leva a cabo o Centro Municipal de Persoas Maiores. \nO vindeiro día 14 de febreiro realizarase a tradicional Festa de Entroido dirixida a este colectivo de poboación.\nEsta actividade naceu para converterse nun espazo de convivencia facilitador do establecemento de relacións interpersoais e sociais.\nTodas as persoas interesadas en participar na Festa de Entroido poden informarse e inscribirse no Centro Municipal de Maiores ou no departamento de servizos sociais municipais ata o vindeiro día 10 de febreiro
